Any vessel anticipating that crew and/or guests will wish to put a line in the water, should first register their vessel with Conservation and Fisheries. An application form is attached and must be returned to us together with:

A copy of the ship's registration document

A photograph of the fishing gear to be used

A photograph of the transom of the vessel to be used for fishing with the yacht's name on it

30 day temporary fishing licences will not be issued unless a yacht is registered. To obtain the temporary licences we will need completed application forms signed by the person who will have the line in the water and photo ID (drivers licence or passport). Temporary licences can only be obtained from Monday-Friday, not at weekends or on public holidays.
