FISHING LICENCES
The BVI is serious about protecting its fish stocks. It is illegal to fish with a rod and reel from a yacht or tender or indeed from a dock. Conservation & Fisheries and Customs Marine Task Force are checking regularly. We strongly advise our clients to obtain temporary 30 day fishing licences for anyone with a line in the water. In order for Shore Side Yacht Services to obtain a fishing license for you, we need scanned copies of photo ID, either drivers licences or passports and the completed application form from you. Fishing licences can only be obtained from Monday-Friday.
